Alumni Association
The Reunion of Faculty of Engineering in Kagoshima University traces its origins back to the alumni association founded by the first graduating class of Kagoshima Prefectural Technical College in 1948. There are five Departmental alumni associations: the Kiyukai of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Kinsuikai of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Department of Information Science and Biomedical Engineering, the AOI of the Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering, the Nansouseimikai of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, and the Shiranamikai of the Department of Ocean Civil Engineering. With a history going back 70 years, the Reunion made up over 25,000 alumni.
